Advisory Board
The Advisory Board for ICCS comprises senior figures working in the climate science field. Meeting formally once a year, they provide advice on the institute's activities in the context of their experience.
The main roles of the Board are:
- Strategic direction: develop and refine the institute's long-term strategic goals and objectives, and offer insights into emerging trends, advancements, and research priorities;
- Programme feedback: provide feedback on the projects carried out by the institute;
- Performance evaluation: evaluate the institute’s performance against strategic objectives;
- Resource allocation: assist in refining the resource allocation process;
- Industry and academic partnerships: advise on potential collaborations with external organisations, and potential funding opportunities, to foster interdisciplinary research;
- Ambassadors: act as ambassadors for the institute at national and international levels.
Members will serve for a period of five years, renewable once.
