Travelling from London airports to Cambridge
From London Heathrow
By rail
Take the Heathrow Express train to London Paddington, then take the London Underground (also called the 'Tube') to London King's Cross. You will need a Circle Line or Hammersmith & City Line train going eastbound. From London King's Cross, take the train to Cambridge.
The Heathrow Express is quicker into central London than taking the Underground all the way, but does involve more changes.
OR take the London Underground from Heathrow to London King's Cross. You will need a Piccadilly Line train going eastbound. From London King's Cross, take the train to Cambridge.
Note that there are fewer trains on Sundays and buses may replace trains if there is scheduled engineering work. Check the rail timetables before travelling.
By bus
Take a bus from Heathrow to Cambridge. National Express and Flixbus both run services which will take you direct to Parkside in Cambridge city centre.
By taxi
Arrange for a car to meet you at Heathrow. If you pre-book and are travelling in a group, this can be more cost effective and easier than taking public transport.
From London Gatwick
By rail
Take the Gatwick Express train to London Victoria, then take the London Underground (the 'Tube') to London King's Cross. You will need a Victoria Line train going northbound. From London King's Cross, take the train to Cambridge.
OR take the train to London St Pancras, cross the road to London King's Cross station and take the train to Cambridge.
Note that there are fewer trains on Sundays and buses may replace trains if there is scheduled engineering work. Check the rail timetables before travelling.

- PR1 towards Madingley Road Park and Ride
- 4 towards Cambourne.
Find timetables on the Stagecoach website. Live bus tracking is available on the Smart Cambridge bus map or at bustimes.org.
Driving to the Centre for Mathematical Sciences
The Centre for Mathematics (CMS) is located on Wilberforce Road (CB3 0WA), off Madingley Road. View Google Maps. The centre may also be reached from Clarkson Road, off Grange Road.
The CMS is close to the M11 motorway (exit at Junction 13), but please note that parking on site is very limited and must be arranged in advance of visiting.
