Research
Research interests
- Sub-seasonal to seasonal to decadal predictions
- Stratospheric dynamics
- Stratosphere to troposphere coupling
- Atmospheric chemistry-dynamical interactions
Alison's research focuses on the large-scale processes in the atmosphere. Some of her current interests include understanding the radiative and dynamical interactions taking place in the atmosphere, the chemical processes that affect stratospheric ozone, and exploring the seasonal to decadal aspects of the circulation.
Teaching and supervision
Available to supervise doctoral students
Available to supervise masters students
- Lectures: Fluid dynamics of Climate
- Supervisions: Quantum Mechanics, Electromagnetism and various other applied courses.
