About
David is a Research Software Engineer at ICCS, with a background in climate physics, oceanography, and numerical modelling.
Prior to joining ICCS, he completed his PhD at Sorbonne University in Paris, where he worked on the representation of oceanic turbulence in numerical models using machine learning. In his current role, he aims to bridge climate research and software engineering, focusing on the technical challenges involved in improving climate models on available computing architectures.
