Dominic is a computer scientist whose research focuses primarily on programming languages (both their theory and practice) and as a large part of this works closely with climate scientists, applying computer science advancements to support their work through programming languages, tools and systems.
He is a co-director of the Institute of Computing for Climate Science at the University of Cambridge and a Senior Lecturer in the Programming Languages and Systems group at the University of Kent.
